University of Alaska Anchorage

The NSCS chapter at University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is a group of high-achieving students who embody the NSCS pillars of scholarship, leadership, service while maintaining a strong foundation of integrity. Members who get involved with The Society foster relationships with fellow students who share passion for scholarly excellence and professional and personal development. The most active and engaged NSCS members at University of Alaska Anchorage practice and refine their leadership skills while gaining valuable networking and community service experiences through their membership with NSCS.

Each year, the NSCS honor society conducts formal New Member Induction Ceremonies to welcome and celebrate new members and to honor them for their outstanding academic performance. The New Member Induction Ceremony also recognizes outstanding members of the community as Distinguished Honorary Members. Family and friends are welcome to attend to recognize and support loved one’s achievements.

In addition to the New Member Induction Ceremony, members of NSCS at UAA can participate in monthly meetings, philanthropy projects, mentorship, national networking, and more.
