🥳Congratulations to the recipients of the NSCS First Generation Scholarship sponsored by Gallagher Affinity! Christina Barlas of the University of Maryland Global Campus Amie Costello of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Jonathan Cruz of Old Dominion University Madelyn Huizar of Ferris State University NSCS is committed to supporting First Generation college students on their journey to be the first in the family to complete a college degree. With Gallagher Affinity’s generous support, NSCS has awarded (4) $2,500 scholarships to our First Gen students. In addition to the financial support, NSCS has also provided guidance through our NSCS Peer Mentoring Program. We are pairing Christina, Amie, Jonathon, and Madelyn with Former First-Generation Alumni members (who previously received First-Gen scholarships) to serve as a resource and offer support. 🥳Congratulations, Scholars!
