My initial reason for joining the NSCS was because I thought it would look good on my resume. After joining I found that looking good on a resume wasn't the only thing that the NSCS offered. There were so many leadership and volunteer opportunities available to members that I otherwise would not have ever known about. And they even offer scholarships to eligible members so that your academic potential isn't limited by financial circumstances. The NSCS really strives to make a positive impact on their members’ lives and the lives of those around them.
