I was highly affected by the pandemic. It hit as I was moving off-campus, and all 3 of my roommates were laid off. I barely had enough for rent and didn’t know how we’d afford groceries. NSCS gave me a $100 scholarship for COVID-19 relief — it was the difference between a full fridge and going hungry. I’m beyond grateful for NSCS having my back however they can.
