I first joined this organization after my first semester at Kansas State University. Afterwards, I transferred to the University of Central Missouri and realized there wasn't a chapter. I decided to start one and the rest is history. I served as chapter president for two years, but more importantly I have met some of my closest friends through this organization and it has definitely helped me grow as a person, scholar, and leader. I will always be thankful for the impact NSCS has left on me. For any college student, I highly recommend getting involved with this great organization.
