I’ve been offered a membership to be a part of NSCS my Freshman year of college at Grand Canyon University maintaining a (4.0) GPA. I recommend saving up for moments like this. There is a fee to accept, but they give you two different options with different opportunities ranging from $50-$100. NSCS provides a variety of lifetime resources for students. They provide mentors that align closely to your future career and it is a $50 refundable fee at the end of your session. I’ve learned how to build a professional resume, how to network, and have been given more scholarship opportunities. By the end of my Freshman year I was offered the VP of Online Member Engagement position and am more than grateful to take on this leadership role. NSCS provides you with a community of high-achieving scholars who have the desire to learn and build passion within their community and future career. Remember, it doesn’t hurt to try to apply if you haven’t received an invite!
