My time with the National Society of Collegiate Scholars has been a profound experience. I had joined wanting to find people like myself who are looking to forgo a journey that many are not willing to go down. A disciplined and rugged road that will allow myself and those participating to see themselves living the vision they see for themselves. But as time continued it turned into something greater, I not only met those with the same level of ambition but also those who I could call friends. Seeing what the importance of what is actually happening within NSCS from a chapter president made me want to participate even more. I encourage anyone to push past boundaries and try something new as there is so much to learn from those who are willing to teach, and it can be from those you least expect.
