I joined NSCS to add something to my resume and get the scholarship opportunities offered through the organization. The communication between members and chapter managers and even those with positions higher up in the organization has always been very effective. They reply to their emails quickly and work to solve your problems. I am also an officer for my University of Oregon chapter and the funding and support each chapter gets from the national organization is amazing.
