The NSCS Global Chapter

The NSCS Global Chapter

NSCS chapters embody the spirit of each individual member’s commitment to scholarship, leadership, and service, built upon a foundation of integrity. The Society is proud to have chapters at nearly 300 higher education institutions across the country, including online, two-year, and four-year schools, as well as The NSCS Global Chapter for students that have not had the opportunity to charter an on-campus chapter (yet!).

Here are a few of the benefits you will enjoy as a member of The Global Chapter.

National Recognition

NSCS’ lifetime membership signifies scholarly achievement. You’ll certainly want to acknowledge this on your ongoing academic and professional profiles, your resume, LinkedIn page, scholarship applications, and graduate school applications.

New Member Induction Ceremony

The New Member Induction Ceremony (online) provides members the opportunity to be formally inducted into the Society, take the membership oath, and learn more about NSCS. Upon attending, you will receive your official membership lapel pin, and become eligible to apply (through the scholarship portal) for one of our New Member Scholarship Awards.

Certificate & Pin

Shortly after joining the Society, you will receive your membership certificate. As part of the Global Chapter you will receive your official membership lapel pin in the mail.

Access To Scholarships

NSCS is proud to give out more than $500,000 (and growing!) in scholarships, chapter funds, and awards annually. Scholarship applications open and close throughout the year to provide you with more time to apply.

Internship Opportunities

NSCS has developed exclusive partnerships to give members access to great internship opportunities that place students in exciting locations in Washington, D.C. and around the world.

Graduate School Resources

NSCS is your go-to resource for finding the right fit for grad school. Our partners offer a wide range of products and services, from creating a profile to connect with recruiters to accessing educational webinars on networking and resume building. Set some time aside to apply for NSCS Scholarships created exclusively for grad school tuition.

Content That Matters

Every month you will receive the NSCS official digital publication, Scholar Connection, aimed at providing you with the most recent and relevant membership information along with some leadership building content. You will also have access to the official NSCS blog TalkNerdy2Me with concise, fun, and engaging content that matters to college students. Through our blog, we also celebrate individual members achieving their goals, so nominate yourself to be the next NSCS Scholar of the Month.
